Project Application form for the Partnership Project Fund (PPF)

The German partnership group is responsible for the applica- tion to Bread for the World.

However, a joint formulation of the project proposal is desired because it increases the transparency of the application and illustrates that both partners are equally re- sponsible for the success of the application procedure.

You can not submit this application form directly to Bread for the World.

1. General information

1.1.Description of the partner in the project country:

Kindly describe the background and history of your organization. Name the topics to which you resp. your organization work. Please describe the financial situation of your organization.

Since when does the partnership committee exist? How many members does it have?

How is it involved in church structures? How are decisions made, who is responsi- ble? Kindly provide information about the decision making body. What experiences and qualifications do the project leaders have?

2. Project description 2.1.Project genesis:

Please describe how the project idea came up and explain the follow up process.

Kindly describe, who participated in the decision making process. How was the idea communicated with your German partners?

2.2. Project background:

Kindly describe in which background is the project integrated. Please describe the social, cultural, religious, economic, legal and ecological conditions influencing the project. Which experiences with comparable projects are available in the region?

Who (governmental and non-governmental) could be co-operation partners?

2.3.Problem description:

Kindly describe and analyse the problem intended to be addresses by the project.

Please describe how men and women are affected in general and/or in different ways.

2.4.Project goal:

What has changed after the project has been successfully implemented? Kindly de- scribe if the changes differ for women, children and men. How can one recognize whether the project goal has been achieved (indicators)?

2.5.Target groups:

Usually, the target group is not the partnership committee in the project country, but rather a certain group of women, orphans, etc.

Please describe the target group, the number of persons, according to sex and age.

How many people benefit from the project? How many of them are women/men?

Kindly describe in which way the target group is involved during the planning process, the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project.

How can the follow up costs be avoided in the long term, or, respectively, be fi- nanced?

Please describe the monitoring process of the project. Who is responsible for it? Are these points constituted in the project agreement?

What communication and decision making structures exist in case of changes during the project implementation?

Please describe, how you want to evaluate the project. Who is responsible for this process? Is the evaluation planned to be conducted separately or jointly by the project partners? Will there be an external or a self evaluation?
