As part of an international research team, you will contribute to the AHRB funded project Christine de Pizan: the Making of the Queen’s Manuscript.

You will research, design and develop an innovative website presenting images, linked transcriptions and analyses of British Library Harley MS 4431, prepared by Christine de Pizan for Queen Isabeau of France in 1413.

You should possess strong IT skills as well as a postgraduate qualification in a related area (such as informatics, computing, art history, French, manuscript studies, linguistics) or have equivalent

Fixed term for two years

Salary: £18,777 - £24,450 per annum

Applications are invited for two O.5 Postdoctoral Research Fellows to conduct practice-based curatorial research projects within the Research Institute of Media, Art and Design at the University of Luton. The Fellows will be responsible for Managing and curating the exhibitions programme at the Hat Factory Gallery as well rotating exhibitions/displays around the university buildings. The fellows will also assist in developing visual and media arts research projects within the department.

The candidates should have active research interests in the production and presentation of the visual arts that reflect cultural diversity in visual

media. Successful applicants will be joining an established team of researchers conducting a wide range of projects in visual and media arts.

The initial appointments will be for 2 years fixed term with possibilities for extension.
