Hiermit erklären wir, Kulzer GmbH, Leipziger Straße 2, 63450 Hanau, dass das nachfolgend bezeichnete Gerät aufgrund seiner Konzipierung und Bauart, sowie der von uns in Verkehr gebrachten Ausführung, den einschlägigen grundlegenden Sicherheits- und Gesundheitsanforderungen der Norm für Photobiologische Sicherheit von Lampen und Lampensystemen DIN EN 62471:2009-03 inklusive Beiblatt 1:2010-06 und Beiblatt 3:2017-06 entspricht.
Bei einer nicht mit uns abgestimmten Änderung des Gerätes verliert diese Erklärung ihre Gültigkeit.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Betrieb

WEEE / ElektroG Entsorgung von Altgeräten nach WEEE (Europäische Richtlinie) oder Elektro und Elektronikgerätegesetz (Deutsches Gesetz ElektroG).
2.2 Transportschäden
Bitte überprüfen Sie nach Erhalt der Lieferung das Gerät auf Transportschäden. Bei Feststellung von Schäden melden Sie diese bis spätestens 24 Stunden nach Auslieferung dem Transportunternehmen.
Sie sollten unter keinen Umständen mit dem Gerät oder dem Zubehör arbeiten, wenn dieses beschädigt ist.
2.3 Betreiberpflichten
Der Betreiber hat, über die Einhaltung der gesetzlichen Vorschriften des Herstellers hinaus, die Pflicht für die Einhaltung und Umsetzung der gesetzlichen Verpflichtungen am Arbeitsplatz zu sorgen, z.B. Einweisungspflicht, Arbeitsschutz- gesetz sowie alle weiteren gültigen Vorschriften und Gesetze. Für die Arbeiten an und mit dem Gerät sind anhand der Betriebsanleitung und aufgrund der durchzuführenden Arbeiten vom Betreiber schriftliche Anweisungen in verständ- licher Form zu erstellen und in der Sprache der Beschäftigten bekannt zu machen.
2.4 Gerätebuch
Wir empfehlen das Führen eines „Gerätebuches“. In diesem Gerätebuch sind Prüfungen, sowie alle wesentlichen Arbeiten (z.B. Instandsetzungen, Änderungen) zu dokumentieren. Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung an einem sicheren Ort auf, so dass Sie auch später Sicherheitshinweise und wichtige Gebrauchsinformationen nachschlagen können.
2.5 Sicherheitshinweise
Die Sicherheitshinweise in Bezug auf den Schutz von Personen beim Umgang mit dem Gerät und dem Bearbeitungsgut ist bei diesem Laborgerät wesentlich vom Verhalten der an dem Gerät beschäftigten Personen abhängig.
Vor Inbetriebnahme Betriebsanleitung sorgfältig lesen und die Angaben beachten, um Fehler und dadurch bedingte Schäden, insbesondere Gesundheitsschäden, zu vermeiden.

Gesetze, Vorschriften und Richtlinien zu beachten.
Es dürfen nur zugelassene Originalersatzteile und -zubehör verwendet werden.
Die Verwendung anderer Teile birgt unbekannte Risiken und ist in jedem Fall zu unterlassen.
Für im eventuellen Schadensfall des Gerätes entstandene Schäden in Folge von unsachgemäßen Reparaturen, welche nicht durch Kulzer Servicepartner oder durch von uns geschultem Personal durchgeführt wurden, oder wenn bei einem Teileaustausch keine Originalersatz-/ Zubehörteile verwendet wurden, wird seitens Kulzer GmbH nicht gehaftet.
3 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Gerät HiLite pre 2 dient dem Angelieren/der Anpolymerisation folgender Materialien im Dentallabor, die für eine Wellenlänge von 405nm vorgesehen sind:
– lichthärtende Komposit-Werkstoffe – kleben spezieller 3D Photopolymere
– lichthärtende Colorfluide und Lacke für Prothesen
Die Verarbeitungsanleitung der zu verarbeitenden Materialien ist immer maßgebend.
ACHTUNG
Das Gerät nicht für die nachfolgend beschriebenen Tätigkeiten einsetzen:
– Das Gerät darf nicht zur Endpolymerisation oben genannter Materialien verwendet werden.
– Das Gerät darf nicht zur Erwärmung oder Zubereitung von Nahrungsmitteln verwendet werden.
– Keine Behandlung und Verwendung an oder in der Umgebung von leicht brennbaren Materialien, Flüssig- keiten und Gasen.
– Anwendung an Patienten.
4 Lieferumfang
Prüfen Sie bei Lieferung des Gerätes, ob alle Komponenten in einwandfreiem Zustand sind. Bei Reklamationen wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Lieferanten.

– 1 x Handstück (inkl. Lithium-Ionen-Akku) mit Betriebsanleitung.
– 1 x Netzteil mit int. Steckeradaptern, Blendschutz, Schutzabdeckung für Ein- und Ausschalter, Clip, Haltestation.

6 Aufstellen, Installation und Inbetriebnahme
Gerät vorsichtig waagerecht transportieren. Erschütterungen sind zu vermeiden!
Maße und Gewicht siehe Kapitel 10 Technische Daten.
Kontrollieren Sie Gerät und Zubehör nach dem Auspacken auf Vollständigkeit und entsorgen Sie das Verpackungs- material umweltgerecht.
ACHTUNG
Sicherheitsvorschriften für die Aufstellung, Installation, Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb des Gerätes.
Folgende Anweisungen unbedingt beachten:
– Vor der Inbetriebnahme ist zu prüfen, ob die Angaben auf dem Typenschild und die örtlichen Netzan- schlussdaten übereinstimmen.
– Das Netzteil ist mit dem passenden, länderspezifischen Netzanschlussadapter zu versehen.
– Netzanschlussleitung und Stecker sind vor Gebrauch auf Beschädigung zu prüfen.
Wenn Schäden vorhanden sind, darf das Gerät nicht mit dem Netz verbunden werden.
– Die elektrischen Kontakte des Handstücks nicht mit Metallgegenständen oder Flüssigkeiten kurzschließen.
– Das Gerät ist an einem stoßsicheren und vor Wasser- oder Flüssigkeitsspritzern geschützten Platz aufzustellen.
– Das Gerät nicht über oder nahe bei Wärmequellen aufstellen. Beim Aufstellen ist genügend Freiraum um das Gerät vorzusehen.
– Das Gerät nicht direkter Sonnen- oder UV-Bestrahlung aussetzen!
– Das Gerät nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Räumen aufstellen, in denen leichtentzündliche Luft-Gas- Gemische herrschen oder absehbar auftreten können (Anästhetika-Mischungen, Isopropanol Dämpfe, usw.).
Bei Bedarf sind Maßnahmen zur Raumlüftung vorzusehen.
– Den Blendschutz orange auf den Objektivtubus (Speed Focus) setzen. Die Schutzabdeckung über die Ladekontakte / Ein-/ Ausschalter schieben.
– Der direkte Kontakt des HiLite pre 2 mit dem anzupolymerisierenden oder anzugelierenden Material ist zu vermeiden.
– Anpolymerisierte Komposite-Rückstände an der Lichtaustrittsfläche behindern die Lichtabgabe und beein- trächtigen die nachfolgenden Zyklen.
HINWEIS
Die Belichtungszeiten für die Anpolymerisation entnehmen Sie bitte der separaten Gebrauchsanweisung des jeweiligen Materials. Für die Endpolymerisation wird ein zusätzliches Kulzer Polymerisationsgerät, z.B.
HiLite® power 3D oder cara Print LEDcure, benötigt.
ACHTUNG
Niemals das Licht in Richtung der Augen halten! Eine direkte oder indirekte Exposition von Licht in die Augen muss immer durch das Tragen einer Schutzbrille, die blaues bis ultraviolettes Licht herausfiltert, verhindert werden. Das Gerät emittiert kein UVLicht (<385nm) in nennenswerter Leistung.
7 Bedienung
7.1 AkkuDas HiLite pre 2 wird von einem wiederaufladbaren Lithium-Ionen-Akku versorgt.
ACHTUNG
Bitte legen Sie den Akku mit dem positiven Pol (+) voran in das Batteriefach ein. Bei falscher Einlegerichtung ist die HiLite pre 2 nicht funktionsfähig und beim Aufladen blinkt die Ladezustandsanzeige rot.
Sicherheitsvorschriften für den Akku:
– Den Akku für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahren.
– Verwenden Sie nur Originalakkus von Kulzer.
– Verwenden Sie zum Aufladen des Akkus ausschließlich die magnetische Ladebuchse.
Versuchen Sie nicht, den Akku mit Universal-Ladegeräten aufzuladen. Explosions- und Brandgefahr!
– Der Akku ist auf geeignete Weise gemäß den geltenden Gesetzen zu entsorgen. Er darf keinesfalls mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Der Eigentümer haftet für etwaige durch unsachgemäße Entsorgung des Akkus verursachte Schäden.
– Den Akku nicht für andere als die vorgeschriebenen Zwecke verwenden.
WARNUNG – EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR
– Den Akku nicht öffnen, durchlöchern oder quetschen; er enthält giftige Stoffe.
– Den Akku nicht verbrennen oder hohen Temperaturen aussetzen – Explosionsgefahr!
– Die Enden des Akkus nicht kurzschließen – Verbrennungs- und Brandgefahr!

GB FR ES IT PT NL SE DK NO FI GR RU Der Akku der HiLite pre 2 wird in ungeladenem Zustand geliefert. Zum Wechseln des Akkus schalten Sie unbedingt
zuerst die HiLite pre 2 aus und schrauben Sie dann die HiLite pre 2 auf. Entnehmen Sie den verbrauchten Akku und entsorgen Sie diesen vorschriftsmäßig. Legen Sie den neuen Akku mit dem positiven Pol (+) voran ein. Schrauben Sie danach das Schaltergehäuse wieder ein.
7.2 Ladevorgang
Bitte schalten Sie die HiLite pre 2 vor dem Ladevorgang aus. Verbinden Sie dann die HiLite pre 2 mit der magnetischen Ladebuchse und diese über das zugehörige Kabel mit dem USB-Port des Netzteils. Das Netzteil ist mit einer Steckdose zu verbinden.
Ladezustands-Anzeige:
Rot (Dauerlicht) – Ladevorgang läuft.
Grün (Dauerlicht) – Ladevorgang abgeschlossen, HiLite pre 2 ist einsatzbereit.
Grün (Blinklicht) – Messvorgang läuft, Vorladung (nach Tiefentladung des Akkus oder langer Nichtbenutzung), Dauer bis zu 300 Sekunden.
Rot (Blinklicht) – Fehlfunktion (Kurzschluss, Einlegerichtung des Akkus im Batteriefach prüfen, etc.).
7.3 Objektivtubus (Speed Focus)
Die HiLite pre 2 ist über den sogenannten „Speed Focus“ fokussierbar. Halten Sie die HiLite pre 2 am geriffelten Mittelteil mit einer Hand fest und schieben Sie mit der anderen Hand den Objektivtubus nach vorne oder hinten.
Hierdurch können Sie den Lichtstrahl stufenlos nach Ihren Wünschen einstellen.
7.4 Ein- und Ausschalten
Um die HiLite pre 2 einzuschalten drücken Sie bitte den Schalter am Ende des Handstücks und Sie erhalten maximale Lichtleistung.
Das „Mikrocontroller-Schalter-System“ verwendet einen Mikroprozessor, der die Helligkeit der LED steuert.
Die HiLite pre 2 kann maximale Helligkeit, reduzierte Helligkeit und Stroboskoplicht zur Verfügung stellen.
Maximale Helligkeit (empfohlen!):
Schalten Sie den Schalter am Ende der HiLite pre 2 für dauerhaftes Licht oder tippen Sie den Schalter nur kurz an, um für einen definierten Augenblick über Licht dieser Helligkeit zu verfügen.
Reduzierte Helligkeit:
Sie erreichen diese Funktion, indem Sie den Schalter am Ende der HiLite pre 2 einmal antippen und dann sofort innerhalb einer Sekunde einschalten.
Stroboskoplicht:
Sie erreichen diese Funktion, indem Sie den Schalter am Ende der HiLite pre 2 zweimal antippen und dann sofort innerhalb einer Sekunde einschalten.
HINWEIS
Die Funktionen „Reduzierte Helligkeit“ und „Stroboskoplicht“ werden immer nur einmalig für den laufenden Prozess aktiviert und nach dem Ausschalten deaktiviert. Der nachfolgende Prozess startet automatisch wieder mit „Maximaler Helligkeit“.
8 Reinigung
ACHTUNGDas Gerät ausschließlich mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch reinigen, dabei darauf achten, dass keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse gelangt. Beschädigungsgefahr durch Kurzschluss! Keine aggressiven Reini
gungsmittel (Scheuerpulver, Lösungsmittel, etc.) verwenden.
HINWEIS
Die Kontakte des Handstücks müssen immer nach dem Reinigen des Handstückgehäuses separat gereinigt werden. Verschmutzte oder durch Reinigungs oder Desinfektionsmittel benetzte Kontaktflächen können den Ladevorgang beeinträchtigen. Die Kontaktflächen mit einem fusselfreien und mit alkoholhaltigen Reinigungs
mittel leicht angefeuchtetem Tuch oder Wattetupfer reinigen bzw. trocknen.

9 Entsorgung
HINWEIS – WICHTIGDas Gerät darf nicht über den normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden.
Zur Entsorgung von Ersatzteilen oder des Gerätes die KulzerNiederlassung im jeweiligen Land kontaktieren.
Betriebsunfähige Akkus sind gemäß den gesetzlichen Vorschriften des jeweiligen Landes zu entsorgen.
WARNHINWEIS – Entsorgung von beschädigten oder verbrauchten Akkus
Beschädigte oder verbrauchte Akkus sind zu entsorgen, nachdem die folgenden notwendigen Schritte zur Verhinderung eines externen Kurzschlusses durchgeführt wurden:
Die 2 Pole des Akkus auf der Oberseite und Unterseite mit Isolierband großflächig abkleben und sicherstellen, dass sich die Isolation beim Transport nicht lösen kann.
Die Bedingungen und Vorsichtsmaßnahmen bei der Entsorgung des Gerätes richten sich nach den geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen für nicht länger brauchbare, elektronische Geräte.
Entsorgung von Altgeräten nach WEEE (Europäische Richtlinie) oder Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz (Deutsches Gesetz ElektroG).

2.2 Transport damage
Check the unit for damage after receiving it. If it is damaged, report this to the transportation company within 24 hours of delivery.
Under no circumstances, install or work with a damaged unit and / or accessories.
2.3 Operator‘s obligations
In addition to complying with the statutory regulations specified by the manufacturer, the operator must ensure the statutory obligations are observed and implemented in the workplace, i.e. he must train his personnel and comply with industrial safety legislation and any other regulations or laws in force.
For working on and with the machine, the operator must draw up written instructions in understandable form and give these to his employees in their own language. These instructions must be based on the operating manual and written in light of the work to be performed.

We recommend that you keep a “unit diary” and document all tests, and major work (e.g. servicing, changes) in it.
Keep this operating manual in a safe place so that you can consult it whenever you need safety instructions and important user information.

The safety instructions for personal safety, the surroundings, and the goods being machined depend heavily on the behaviour of the people using the machine.
Before putting the machine into operation, read the operating manual carefully and follow the instructions to avoid errors and damage, especially damage to your health.

3 Intended use
The HiLite pre 2 unit is used for gelling/pre-polymerization of the following materials in the dental laboratory, which are suitable for a wavelength of 405nm:
– light-curing composite materials – bonding of special 3D photopolymers
– light-curing color fluids and varnishes for dentures
The processing instructions for each material that is being processed must always be followed without deviation.
CAUTION
Do not use the unit for the activities described below:
– Do not use the unit for the final polymerization of the materials named above.
– Do not use the unit to heat or prepare food.
– Do not treat or use with or in the vicinity easily combustible materials, liquids or gases.
– Do not use on patients.
4 Scope of delivery
Check whether all components are free of issues when delivered. Please contact your supplier for any complaints.

6 Setting up, installation and putting into operation
When transporting the unit, do so carefully in a horizontal position. Avoid jerking it!
For dimensions and weight, see section 10 ‘Technical details’.
After unpacking, check that the delivery is complete, i.e. the unit and all accessories are present, and dispose of the packaging material in accordance with local environmental regulations.
CAUTION
Safety regulations for setting up, installing, placing into operation and operating the unit.
Following the instructions below is imperative:
– Before putting into operation check to make sure that the figures on the rating plate agree with the local power supply figures.
– The power supply unit must be fitted with the appropriate country-specific mains connection adapter.
– Check the mains connection cable and plug for damage before use. If there is damage, the do not plug the unit into the mains.
– Do not short the electrical contacts on the handpiece by bringing them into contact with metal objects or liquids.
– The unit must be installed in an impact-resistant location protected from water and liquid splashes.
– Do not set up the unit above or near sources of heat. During installation, sufficient space must be maintained around the unit.
– Never expose the unit to direct sunlight or ultraviolet radiation.
– Do not set up the unit in potentially explosive areas where highly flammable air/gas mixtures prevail or may arise (anaesthetic mixtures, isopropanol fumes, etc.). If necessary, take measure to provide room ventilation.
– Place the orange glare shield on the lens barrel (Speed Focus). Slide the protective covering over the on/off switch.
– Avoid any direct contact between the HiLite pre 2 and the material to be pre- polymerization or gelled.
– Pre-polymerized composite residues on the light exit surface impair light emission and have a negative effect on subsequent cycles.
NOTE Please refer to the separate instructions for use of the particular material for prepolymerization curing times.
An additional Kulzer polymerization unit is required for final polymerization, e.g. HiLite® power 3D or cara Print LEDcure.
WARNING
Never point the light into the eyes. Wearing safety glasses that filter out the blue to ultraviolet light range must be worn to prevent direct or indirect light exposure to the eyes. The unit does not emit any significantly powerful UV light (<385nm).
7 Appliance
7.1 BatteryThe HiLite pre 2 is supplied with power from a rechargeable lithium ion battery.
CAUTION
When inserting the battery, make sure the (+) pole goes first. If inserted incorrectly, the HiLite pre 2 will not work. Additionally the battery will not charge and if charging is attempted the charge indicator will blinking red.
Safety regulations for the battery:
– Keep the battery out of children’s reach.
– Only use genuine Kulzer GmbH batteries.
– To charge the battery only use the magnetic charging clip.
Do not charge the battery with universal battery chargers. Risk of explosion and fire!
– Dispose of the battery in a suitable manner in accordance with the laws applicable. Under no circumstan- ces may it be disposed of along with domestic waste.
The owner is liable for any damage caused by improper disposal of the battery.
– Do not use the battery for purposes other than those specified.
WARNING – RISK OF EXPLOSION
– Do not open, pierce or squash the battery; it contains toxic substances.
– Do not burn the battery or expose it to high temperatures – risk of explosion!

– The battery of the HiLite pre 2 is not charged when it is delivered.
To replace the battery, switch off the HiLite pre 2 and then unscrew the cap at the end. Take out the used battery and dispose of it correctly. Insert the new battery with the positive pole (+) first. Close the HiLite pre 2 by screwing the end cap back in place.
7.2 Charging
Turn off the HiLite pre 2 during charging. Then connect the HiLite pre 2 with the magnetic charging clip and connect it via the appropriate cable to the USB port of the power supply. Then plug the adapter into an electricity outlet.
Charging indication light:
Red (steady) – charging.
Green (steady) – fully charged, HiLite pre 2 is ready for operation.
Green (blinking) – measuring procedure, pre-charging (after total discharge of the battery or if not used for a long time) can take up to 300 seconds.
Red (blinking) – indicates an error (e.g. short circuit, check if the battery insert into the battery compartment is correct).
7.3 Lens barrel (Speed Focus)
The HiLite pre 2 can be focused using the “Speed Focus” function. To adjust the beam simply push the head of the HiLite pre 2 forwards or backwards with your thumb.
7.4 Turning ON and OFF
To turn HiLite pre 2 ON and OFF, push the button at the end of the hand piece to achieve maximum light output The “Micro Controller Switch System” uses a micro-processor to control the illumination of the LED.
The HiLite pre 2 has three settings: Power Light, Low Power Light and Strobe Light.
Power Light (recommended!):
Push the button at the end of the HiLite pre 2 for continuous light or simply touch it for instant light.
Low Power Light:
Touch the button at the end of the HiLite pre 2 once and then switch on fully within 1 second.
Strobe Light:
Touch the button at the end of the HiLite pre 2 twice and then switch on fully within 1 second.
NOTE
The ‘reduced brightness’ and ‘strobe light’ functions will be activated only once for the process that is running and deactivated after switching off. When the following process starts, it will automatically reset to ‘maximum brightness’.
8 Cleaning
CAUTIONClean the unit completely with a slightly moistened cloth, making sure that no fluid gets into the housing of the unit. There is a risk of damage due to short circuit. Do not use abrasive detergents (scouring powder, solvents, etc.).
NOTE
The handpiece contacts must always be cleaned separately after cleaning the housing. Contact surfaces that are soiled or have become wet from cleaning or disinfectant agents may affect the charging. Clean or dry the contact surfaces with a lintfree cloth or cotton bud slightly moistened with a cleaning agent containing alcohol.

9 Disposal
NOTE – IMPORTANTThe device must not be disposed off in normal domestic waste.
For the disposal of spare parts, or the unit, please contact the Kulzer subsidiary directly in your country.
Dispose unserviceable batteries and light guides according to the corresponding legal requirements in your country.
WARNING – Damaged or exhausted battery disposal
Dispose a damaged or exhausted battery after taking the necessary steps to prevent external short circuit by the following method:
Cover the top and bottom side of the 2 battery poles extensively with insulating tape and ensure that the insulation is secured for transport.
The conditions and precautionary measures for disposing of the device are subject to the valid legal provisions similar to any other electronic device which has become unusable.
Disposal of old equipment according to WEEE (European Directive) or Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (German Law ElektroG).

3 Utilisation conforme
Le dispositif HiLite pre 2 sert à la gélification/polymérisation en laboratoire dentaire des matériaux prévus pour une longueur d‘ondes de 405 nm suivants :
– Matériaux composites photopolymérisables – Colles de photopolymères 3D spéciaux
– Colorants fluides photopolymérisables et vernis pour prothèses Les instructions de traitement des matériaux à traiter sont toujours déterminantes.
ATTENTION
Ne pas utiliser le dispositif pour les opérations suivantes : – Polymérisation finale des matériaux mentionnés ci-dessus.
– Chauffage ou préparation d’aliments.
– Traitement ou utilisation sur ou à proximité de matériaux, liquides et gaz facilement inflammables.
– Utilisation sur les patients.
4 Contenu de la livraison
À la livraison du dispositif, vérifiez que tous les éléments sont en parfait état. Pour toute réclamation, adressez-vous à votre fournisseur.

6 Montage, installation et mise en service
Transporter le dispositif avec précaution et à l‘horizontale. Éviter les secousses ! Les dimensions et le poids figurent au chapitre 10 « Caractéristiques techniques ».
Contrôler que l‘appareil et les accessoires sont complets après les avoir déballés et mettre au rebut le matériel d‘emballage dans le respect de l‘environnement.
ATTENTION
Consignes de sécurité pour la mise en place, l‘installation, la mise en service et l‘utilisation du dispositif.
Respecter impérativement les instructions suivantes :
– Avant la mise en service, vérifier que les indications figurant sur la plaque signalétique correspondent aux données de raccordement au réseau local.
– La prise transformateur doit être munie de l‘adaptateur de prise adapté au pays de l’utilisation.
– Vérifier l‘état du cordon d‘alimentation électrique et de la prise avant l‘utilisation. Ne pas brancher le dispositif ne doit pas être branché sur le réseau en cas de dommage constaté.
– Ne pas court-circuiter les contacts électriques de la pièce à main avec des objets métalliques ou des liquides.
– Poser le dispositif à un endroit résistant aux chocs et protégé des éclaboussures d‘eau ou de liquide.
– Ne pas placer le dispositif au-dessus ou près de sources de chaleur. Lors de la mise en place, prévoir suffisamment d‘espace libre autour du dispositif.
– Ne pas exposer le dispositif aux rayons directs du soleil ou à un rayonnement UV !
– Ne pas placer le dispositif dans des locaux présentant un risque d‘explosion, où des mélanges air-gaz facilement inflammables sont présents ou peuvent se produire (mélanges anesthésiants, vapeurs d‘isopropanol, etc.).
Si nécessaire, prévoir des mesures de ventilation des locaux.
– Placer le capuchon anti-éblouissement orange sur la monture de l‘objectif (Speed Focus). Pousser le cache protecteur sur les contacts de recharge / l‘interrupteur marche/arrêt.
– Éviter le contact direct du HiLite pre 2 avec le matériau à polymériser ou à gélifier.
– Les résidus composites polymérisés sur la surface de sortie de la lumière empêchent le transfert de lumière, compromettant ainsi les cycles successifs.
REMARQUE
Vous trouverez les temps d‘exposition pour la polymérisation dans les instructions d‘utilisation séparées du matériau concerné. Un dispositif de polymérisation Kulzer supplémentaire, p. ex. HiLite® power 3D ou cara Print LEDcure, est requis pour la polymérisation finale.
ATTENTION
Ne jamais diriger la lumière vers les yeux ! Veiller à toujours empêcher une exposition directe ou indirecte de la lumière dans les yeux en portant des lunettes de protection filtrant la lumière bleue à ultraviolette. Le dispositif n‘émet aucune lumière UV (< 385 nm) à la puissance nominale.
7 Utilisation
7.1 Pile rechargeableLe HiLite pre 2 est alimenté par une pile ions-lithium rechargeable.
ATTENTION
Au cours de l’insertion des pile rechargeable, veuillez insérer les pile rechargeable avec le pôle positif (+) en premier. Si le sens d’insertion est faux, la HiLite pre 2 ne peut fonctionner et l’indicateur de charge clignotera en rouge.
Consignes de sécurité pour la pile rechargeable : – Stocker la pile rechargeable hors de portée des enfants.
– N’utilisez que des pile rechargeable d’origine de Kulzer GmbH.
– Pour charger les pile rechargeable utilisez exclusivement la clip chargeur magnétique. N’essayez pas de recharger la pile rechargeable avec des chargeurs universels. Risque d’explosion et d’incendie ! – La pile rechargeable doit être éliminée convenablement selon la législation en vigueur. Elle ne doit en
aucun cas être éliminée avec les ordures ménagères.
Le propriétaire est tenu pour responsable des dommages éventuels causés par une élimination non conforme de la pile rechargeable.
– Ne pas utiliser la pile rechargeable à d’autres fins que celles prévues.
AVERTISSEMENT D’EXPLOSION
– Ne pas ouvrir, trouer ou tordre la pile rechargeable ; elle contient des substances toxiques.
– Ne pas brûler la pile rechargeable ou l’exposer à des températures élevées : risque d’explosion !

– La pile rechargeable du HiLite pre 2 est livrée non chargée.
Pour remplacer les pile rechargeable, veuillez d’abord allumer la HiLite pre 2 et dévisser ensuite le capuchon situé à l’extrémité de la HiLite pre 2 Retirer les pile rechargeable usées (ou à fuites) et les recycler correctement.
Insérer les nouvelles pile rechargeable avec le pôle positif (+) en premier. Fermer la lampe torche en vissant à nouveau le capuchon de l’extrémité de la HiLite pre 2.
7.2 Chargement
Veuillez éteindre la HiLite pre 2 pendant son chargement. Insérez la HiLite pre 2 dans son chargeur magnétique et reliez-la au secteur. Puis branchez l’appareil sur la prise d’alimentation en énergie.
Témoin de charge :
Rouge (lumière fixe) – en cours de chargement.
Vert (lumière fixe) – entièrement chargé, la HiLite pre 2 est prête à l’emploi.
Vert (clignotement) – procédure de mesure, pré-chargement (après un déchargement total des pile rechargeable ou un long temps d’inutilisation) pouvant durer jusqu’à 300 secondes.
Rouge (clignotement) – indique une erreur (court-circuit, que l’insertion de la batterie dans le compartiment de la batterie soit correcte).
7.3 Mise au point de la vitesse avec une seule main (Speed Focus)
La lumière de cette HiLite pre 2 est réglable « Speed Focus ». Afin d’ajuster le faisceau lumineux à votre besoin, veuillez simplement avancer ou reculer le curseur placé sur la tête de la HiLite pre 2.
7.4 Allumer ou éteindre
Pour allumer ou éteindre le HiLite pre 2 appuyez le curseur situé à l’extrémité du pièce à main (sortie maximum du flash).
Le « système de commutation du microcontrôleur » utilise un microprocesseur pour contrôler le degré
de luminosité de la diode à LED. Il offre des possibilités de lumière à forte intensité ; de lumière à faible intensité et de lumière stroboscopique.
Concernant la lumière à forte intensité (recommandé !) :
Allumer le bouton situé à l’extrémité du flash pour un éclairage continu ou appuyez dessus pour un éclairage intermittent.
Concernant la lumière à faible intensité :
Appuyer une fois sur le bouton situé à l’extrémité du flash, puis allumer la seconde d’après.
Concernant la lumière stroboscopique :
Appuyer deux fois sur le bouton situé au bout du flash, puis allumer la seconde d’après.
REMARQUE
L’activation des fonctions « Luminosité réduite » et « Lumière stroboscopique » n’a lieu qu‘une seule fois pour le processus en cours et une extinction de l’appareil les désactive. La « luminosité maximale » est de nouveau automatiquement réglée au démarrage du processus suivant.
8 Nettoyage
ATTENTIONNettoyer le dispositif uniquement avec un chiffon légèrement humide en faisant attention à ce qu‘aucune humi
dité ne pénètre dans le boîtier du dispositif. Risque de détérioration par courtcircuit ! N‘utiliser pas de produits de nettoyage agressifs (poudre récurrente, solvant, etc.).
REMARQUE
Les contacts de la pièce à main doivent systématiquement être nettoyés séparément après nettoyage du boîtier de la pièce à main. Si les surfaces de contact sont encrassées ou humectées de produit de nettoyage ou de désinfectant, cela peut nuire au processus de recharge. Nettoyer ou sécher les surfaces de contact avec un chiffon non pelucheux ou un tampon de ouate légèrement imbibé d‘un produit de nettoyage à base d‘alcool.

9 Mise au rebut
REMARQUE – IMPORTANTLa lampe ne doit pas être jetée avec les ordures ménagères.

AVERTISSEMENT – Mise au rebut d’une batterie endommagée ou en fin de vie
Après avoir pris les mesures nécessaires pour éviter un court-circuit externe, procédez comme suit pour la mise au rebut d’une batterie endommagée ou en fin de vie :
Coller du ruban isolant en couvrant largement sur les 2 pôles de la batterie sur la partie supérieure et la partie inférieure et s‘assurer que l‘isolation ne peut pas se détacher lors du transport.
Les conditions et les précautions applicables à la mise au rebut de l’appareil sont assujetties aux dispositions légales en vigueur pour tous les autres dispositifs électroniques devenus inutilisables.
Elimination des équipements usagés selon la WEEE (Directive Européenne) ou
la législation relative aux équipements électriques et électroniques (Loi allemande ElektroG).

Kulzer GmbH, Leipziger Straße 2, 63450 Hanau (Alemania), declara por el presente que el dispositivo descrito a continuación cumple por el diseño, la estructura y la versión comercializada los requisitos de salud y seguridad básicos pertinentes definidos en la norma UNE-EN 62471:2009-03 «Seguridad fotobiológica de lámparas y de los aparatos que utilizan lámparas» y de los Suplementos 1:2010-06 y 3:2017-06.
Esta declaración perderá su validez en caso de efectuarse cualquier modificación en la máquina sin autorización previa.

RAEE / ElektroG Eliminación de equipos antiguos según la directiva RAEE (directiva europea) o la Ley alemana sobre aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos (ElektroG).
2.2 Daños durante el transporte
Cuando reciba la unidad, compruebe la existencia de daños. Si tiene daños, notifíquelo al transportista en un plazo máximo de 24 horas desde el momento de la entrega.
En ningún caso, instale ni utilice la unidad o sus accesorios si están dañados.
2.3 Obligaciones del operario
Además de ajustarse a la normativa legal especificada por el fabricante, el operario deberá garantizar que las obligaci- ones legales se conozcan y se pongan en práctica en el lugar de trabajo; es decir, deberá formar al personal y ajustarse a la legislación en materia de seguridad y a cualquier otra normativa o ley en vigor.
Para trabajar con la máquina y en torno a ella, el operario deberá redactar una serie de instrucciones para sus emplea- dos. Estas instrucciones deberán ser fáciles de comprender y estar en el idioma de los empleados. Estas instrucciones deben basarse en el manual de uso y redactarse teniendo en cuenta el trabajo que se vaya a llevar a cabo.
2.4 Diario de la unidad
Es recomendable llevar un «diario de la unidad» y documentar todas las pruebas y tareas importantes (como repara- ciones o modificaciones) que se realicen en ella. Guarde este manual de funcionamiento en un lugar seguro para poder consultar las instrucciones de seguridad e información importante para el usuario, siempre que lo necesite.
2.5 Advertencias de seguridad
Estas advertencias relativas a la seguridad personal, del entorno de uso y del material de procesamiento dependen en gran medida de cómo actúen las personas que utilizan la máquina.

Kulzer GmbH no aceptará responsabilidad alguna por daños ocasionados en la unidad a consecuencia de una reparación no experta que no lleven a cabo técnicos de Kulzer o si no se han utilizado piezas de repuesto o accesorios originales al reemplazar estas piezas
3 Uso previsto
La unidad HiLite pre 2 se utiliza para la gelificación/pre-polimerización en el laboratorio dental de los siguientes materi- ales, aptos para una longitud de onda de 405 nm:
– fotopolimerización de composites – adhesión de fotopolímeros 3D especiales
– líquidos de color fotopolimerizables y barnices para prótesis Siga siempre las instrucciones de procesamiento de cada material.
PRECAUCIÓN
No utilice la unidad para las actividades detalladas a continuación:
– No utilice la unidad para la polimerización final de los materiales indicados anteriormente.
– No utilice la unidad para calentar ni preparar alimentos.
– No acondicione ni utilice la unidad cerca de gases, líquidos o materiales de fácil combustión.
– No utilice la unidad con pacientes.
4 Artículos suministrados
Verifique que todos los componentes suministrados se encuentren en perfecto estado al recibir el aparato. Si tiene alguna reclamación, póngase en contacto con el distribuidor.
