With its scholarship line STIBET III Matching Funds the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with support from the Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) offers funds for scholarships to support interna- tional Master’s students.

The DAAD grants these funds to match contributions raised by the University of Stuttgart itself from non- public foundations, companies etc. to support their international students.

The University of Stuttgart has decided to direct these Matching Funds scholarships towards interna- tional participants of the English Master’s programs.

The purpose of these scholarships is to support stu- dents in financial need and award good academic performance.

The amount and duration of the Matching-Funds scholarship vary (250-850EUR/2-6 month) depending on the amount of available funds and will be deter- mined by a selection committee of the International Office during the selection procedure.

Please note: There is no legal entitlement for a schol- arship, nor a certain sum or duration. All submitted documents or any information provided may be con- sidered in the selection process for the awarding of scholarships. Usually, candidates will be informed about the results of their application within 4 weeks after the application deadline by the International Of- fice of the University of Stuttgart.
