Online – Zoom Webinar

We are pleased to invite you to the workshop series "Green Deal for the Western Balkans", organized by the German Eastern Business Association (Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen

Wirtschaft e. V.) with the support of the network of Chambers of Commerce Abroad in the region. The workshop series will take place online in English (without translation) from November 30 to December 2, 2021 as Zoom Webinar. During these days, we will focus on the individual countries of the Western Balkans in six public focus events.

The aim of this public event is to enter into a dialogue with the representatives of the responsible ministries, which are in charge of the implementation of the Green Deal in the Western Balkans, in order to learn more about the priorities of the respective governments in the implementation of the Sofia Declaration of November 2020. Together, we would like to analyse potentials for cooperation with the business community and learn from the administration where they see the role of business/companies in the implementation of the Green Deal. In doing so, we will also talk about the financial needs of the countries for the implementation of the projects. At the same time, we want to use this dialog to identify the prerequisites for business involvement. The main result should be an increased awareness of this important task, the challenges, but above all the opportunities of the Green Deal.

We would appreciate your participation and request your registration by November 28, 2021 on our registration page https://www.oa-event.de using the following code: GREENDEALWS.

Once you have registered for the event you will get the dial in link the day before the event.
