welcomes manuscripts for publication. Submissions may be scholarly treatments from any methodological point of view of the history, theory, criticism, or pedagogy of photography and related media.

The Society for Photographic Education is an international

organization of academic photographers, teachers of photography, art historians, curators, publishers, and other professionals interested in photography. exposure, the society's journal, regularly

publishes articles by leading scholars in the history, theory, criticism, and pedagogy of photography. The journal is now in its thirty-fourth year and is published twice yearly.

Manuscripts submitted for publication should be 3,000 to 7,000 words long. Submissions are accepted throughout the year and are reviewed by the peer review panel in June and October. The deadline for the next review is October 5, 2001.
