About the FHP The FHP is a young, dynamic University of Applied
Sciences founded in 1991, which has already achieved a remarkable reputation. Today, our courses of study offered by the Faculties of Civil Engineering, Design, Information Sciences, Social and Educational Sciences as well as Stadt|Bau|Kultur provide a well-grounded university education with strong professional prospects. Alongside the specializations of the various disciplines, the exchange of ideas between them harbors a great potential for innovative developments. We provide optimal supervision for students and research based learning as a framework for international teaching.
Furthermore, our modern infrastructure as well as a strong focus on applied research in cooperation with private and public partners distinguishes us. We welcome researchers, partners and students from around the world and provide support for those who want to study and work with us.

Language of instruction The main language of instruction is German. In some departments, e.g. Culture Work and Design, selected courses are taught in English. For further information, please contact the International Office.
