The current domestic biomass potentials illustrated for the whole country …
(status August 2016)
…and at a regional level, here sustainable potential for primary energy per canton (PJ).

Conclusions and perspectives:
- Largest theoretical and sustainable potentials: manure and forest wood.
- Total biomass: sustainable potential of 94.8 PJ and remaining sustainable potential of 42.3 PJ for the whole country.
- Different resources present differentiated spatial repartitions: resources energy utilisation should be planed at a local scale.
- The implementation of the remaining sustainable potential is still a challenge.
